CADA INSTITUTIONS
The National System for Integral Family Development (DIF) is a Mexican public institution of social assistance that focuses on strengthening and developing the welfare of the Mexican families. This institution provides a documental logistic support in Oaxaca and it helps identify communities, their cultural heritage and which ones have a need of economic support.
The Oaxaca Design Center (CDO) is formed by an interdisciplinary team of professionals who interact under the focus of participative design. Thanks to its links to the civil society, government and non-government institutions, artisans, artists, and private and education institutions, the center develops products, services and experiences driven to solve specific needs.
The design center provides disseminative and logistic support to the project as well as being a possible founder of the edition of a documental catalogue, and the compensation of the formative workshops.
Textile Museum of Oaxaca From its creation, the MTO has made its mission to offer a wide perspective of the designs, techniques, and creative processes involved in the textile craft of Oaxaca, of Mexico, and of the world through the constant exchange of specialized knowledge by means of lectures, workshops and exhibitions.
Textile Museum of Oaxaca cooperates in the CADA project as consultant and has offered its installations to generate textile workshops related to the Project as well as the prevision for an exhibition about the workshops´ textile process andits development in the commercialization phase.

Engineering and Architecture Graduate School (Escuela de Graduados en Ingeniería y Arquitectura) Industrial Design Department (Departamento de Diseño Industrial) will allow CADA to be implemented through academic format and collaboration with professors at the Program.
Pratt. Center for Sustainable Design Studies (CSDS) It serves as a physical and virtual hub for Pratt’s commitment to educate environmentally responsible citizens. CSDS encourages the use of Pratt’s campus as a living laboratory linking the classroom to campus initiatives. The CSDS houses a materials research center that supports faculty, students and alumni in the integration of sustainability into their professional lives. CSDS is also the home of the Pratt Design Incubator for Sustainable Innovation founded in 2002.
The Certificate in Design Entrepreneurship (CDE)is specifically for designers who want to become design entrepreneurs. Participants choose from seven distinct intensive courses that focus on fashion, footwear, jewelry, product design, social innovation or design consulting. This program will build your business acumen and set the stage for you to build a viable business that is driven by design. Sustainable best practices are integrated throughout the program ensuring that you learn how to make decisions that consider the environmental and social impacts along with economic success.
This flexible program is created to work around a busy schedule and can be completed within three to four weeks. The program will allow CADA to be presented as a business model and case study to replicate, and will help to the dissemination of the project in an academic platform.
Higher Education in Textile Design and Fashion of Galicia (ESDEMGA) They form highly qualified design professional to become a part of this ground breaking sector. They offer a constantly actualized education on the latest techniques and technologies focused on the mastery of creation languages and methodologies as well as the technical tools, fabric knowledge, design by computer, pattern making, fashion photography, and marketing notions. The School´s interest is focused on design and crafts fusion, trying to integrate both in the academic process. The program will allow CADA to be presented as a business model and case study to replicate, and will help to the dissemination of the project in an academic platform.
